Start / Mise-en-scene / Props
Starting today at 6-7pm in the evening at the outside of the pub " The Three Horse Shoes" in Letchmore Heath. We leave after dinner and are finally back for 7 o'clock Call.
We organized the first thriller shots today.
Mainly we thought about the costumes and the important Mise-en-scene props. We decided to use a Long, black trench code for Max Thiele, who acts as the criminal. A very Important prop is the knife from the criminal, because their will be a close-up on it and it is important for the understanding.
We are going to use Knife from my boardings house kitchen.
Max will wear big, black boots to step on the cigarette, which is a synonym for the victims life. The will be again in a scene, when the criminal runs past the camera to follow the victim, which is running away. after it has seen the knife in the criminals hand.

PRACTICING Camerawork
Practicing our shots
So if you have seen our storybook, we have especially practiced the scenes where we will have to use the zoom or where the camera is moving.
If you see number 2 or 3. We tried these ones to
make it look real and with a good camera movement. The case is, that we can't use real alcohol, so we have to make it up somehow, like apple juice etc. We will use cigarettes, but only for the scene where the victim steps onto it.
Here, we have done the scene 11, 12 and 13. Especially 11, because it is a very special and important scene, where everything has to be perfectly connected, when we cut it and film it.
We will use cigarette smoke, but you are not able to see the cigarette, because that is not allowed.
