2) Crime Thriller: This sub-genre's plot usually centers on a serial killer, murderer, robbery, or manhunt.

3) Spy Thriller: This usually with a spy from the government or the from a country, involves action loaded scenes and violent action.
Example: Unknown


4) Psychological Thriller: It contains elements of drama and mystery film. The actors in these kind of Thrillers must rely on their mental resources to solve situations.
Example: Taxi Driver 




5) Science Fiction Thriller:  incorporates with science-based themes into the plot of the film.
Example: District 9 




6) Religious Thriller: involves religious questions, ceremonies and objects.
Example: The Da Vinci Code
